Lui injury blow for Tigers

Less than a week after losing wingers Chris Lawrence and Lote Tuqiri, Wests Tigers have been dealt a fresh injury blow to halfback Robert Lui.

Lui suffered an ankle injury in last Saturday’s victory over Canberra and is likely to be sidelined for six weeks.

The 21-year-old joins an ever-growing Tiger injury list, which includes the likes of Lawrence, Tuqiri, Gareth Ellis, Beau Ryan and Liam Fulton.

Meanwhile, coach Tim Sheens has named rookie Jacob Miller as Lui’s replacement for Sunday’s clash with the Sydney Roosters.

He has also hinted that prop Bryce Gibbs also has an outside chance of being fit for the match, despite missing out on selection.
