Lucas Walshaw extends Dewsbury stay

Lucas Walshaw has signed a new one-year deal with Dewsbury.

The back-rower or centre has become a fan favourite at the Tetley’s Stadium in recent years. Walshaw has played over 50 games for the Championship club.

Walshaw has been at the Rams since 2015, initially joining on loan, before signing a permanent deal with the club in 2017.

The 26-year-old started his professional career with Wakefield Trinity in 2011, before enjoying spells at Doncaster and Bradford Bulls as well as Dewsbury.
