With Magic Weekend just around the corner, here at Love Rugby League HQ we’ve looked at our predictions ahead of the Super League action this weekend.
Toronto Wolfpack vs Toulouse Olympique: These two Championship sides kick-start the action-packed weekend at St James’ Park, with first place Toronto facing French side Toulouse.
James Gordon: 36-18
Drew Darbyshire: 28-14
Lucy Gordon: 42-28
Josh McAllister: 38-20
Widnes Vikings vs St Helens: Top of the Super League table St Helens face Denis Betts’ Widnes Vikings in the first Super League game of the weekend, being the first time these sides have met on the occasion.
Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves: Second vs third, as Steve Price’s Warrington look to make it 11 wins in a row, whilst Josh Charnley will face his former side for the first time.
Castleford Tigers vs Leeds Rhinos: The 2017 Super League Grand Final rematch, as Castleford will be looking to avenge their loss in front of the biggest crowd of the season.
Salford Red Devils vs Catalans Dragons: Following their loss in the Challenge Cup, Salford will be looking to retain their spot in the top 8. But can bottom of the table Dragons claim the two points?
Wakefield Trinity vs Huddersfield Giants: These sides met recently in the sixth round of the Cup, with the Giants progressing to the next round. Chris Chester’s side will be looking for revenge…
Hull FC vs Hull KR: With the injury crisis both teams have, these teams would probably rather a game of nines. But can the return of Kirk Yeaman spark a win for FC?
