Not only does the Super League start this week, but it’s Valentine’s Day as well giving clubs plenty of excuses to share content on their channels.

St Helens got pulses racing a few days before Valentine’s, as they shared a number of their players enjoying the heat in Australia.

It was all smiles in a week after Saints defeated NRL side St George-Illawarra Dragons 30-18 as they build up to this weekend’s World Club Challenge.

They take on Penrith Panthers, in the first world title tussle since Saints hosted Sydney Roosters in 2020.

Wigan’s new number seven Harry Smith featured in their Valentine’s Day message.

Featherstone posted a Valentine’s card with some clever hidden messages. “Be Cozza you’re Hall I need” and “You make my heart go Wildie” were personal favourites. Even coach Sean Long got a mention.

Sadly, our own George Riley missed the cut when it came to photo selection.

Halifax teased a French hunk of their own, as they used Louis Jouffret as their poster boy.

No Valentine’s Day messages as such from Leeds, but they did come up with a way of purchasing last minute gifts from the club in the form of a tribute on the south stand wall at Headingley.

Catalans went one better with a special Valentine’s Day discount offer, giving fans 50% off tickets for their opening home game against Leigh.

A nice twist from Huddersfield who use their Valentine’s message to highlight “power couples”

First up, they mentioned Tui Lolohea and Innes Senior, then a follow-up with a couple that have stood the test of time, Jermaine McGillvary and Leroy Cudjoe.

Of course, love is always in the air at Love Rugby League HQ. We’ve got some exciting changes in the pipeline which will be revealed very soon. Here’s to a good season!
