Lost passport puts Watts’ Catalan trip in jeopardy

Hull FC are racing against time to find a replacement passport for prop forward Liam Watts.

The former Hull KR front rower has misplaced his current document, which means that he will unable to travel to Perpignan this weekend to play against Catalan Dragons.

While the club would normally send him to Liverpool to obtain a replacement, time precludes that option.

There is also a bureaucratic backlog which is currently affecting the processing of UK passports.

A lawyer is currently working against the clock to try and secure a replacement, with the original having been misplaced in the house where Watts lives.

Hull FC travel out to France on Friday morning. Garreth Carvell is on standby, should Watts not make the trip.
