Lopini Paea agrees two-year extension with Dragons

Catalans Dragons forward Lopini Paea has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him at Perpignan until the end of 2014.

The 28 year-old joined the club last year and made 36 Super League appearances, scoring 8 tries. The former Sydney Roosters prop also captained Tonga.

He has missed only one game this season and already scored five tries.

He said: “I’m very happy to stay here. We are building something great with the Catalans Dragons and I’m happy to be a part of it. I hope we’ll write the history in the next two seasons and win a trophy.”
