London Skolars have signed Jon Magrin, Joe Brown and James Barran on loan.

Jamaica international Magrin returns to the capital on a one-month loan deal from Bradford Bulls. He will link up with his international team-mates Omari Caro and Lamont Bryan at the Skolars, as well as Reggae Warriors coach Jermaine Coleman.

Youngsters Brown and Barran have joined the Skolars on loan for the remainder of the 2019 campaign from Wigan Warriors.

Skolars coach Coleman commented: “I have worked with him previously when he was playing at London Broncos and also during the off-season with Jamaica.

“He is a fantastic acquisition for the club. I think he can provide real power in the centre of the field. He is going to be a positive force for the team and hopefully give us that extra impetus going forward.

“James Barran is a textbook player. He is a player who can control a team and can be really aggressive as well, which I like in a half-back.  I am looking forward to having him with us until the end of the season.

“Joe has been with us this last month and has had a big impact on the team both on the wing and at full-back. He is one of those players who likes to pop up all over the place. Every time there is a break, he is on hand to support.”
