London have signed front-rower Nathan Mason on a two-year deal from Huddersfield.

The 25-year-old came through the Giants’ academy and made 33 appearances for the club, enjoying loan spells at Batley Bulldogs and Oldham in the process.

Mason spent the 2018 season on loan at Championship side Leigh Centurions, where he played 22 times for the club.

On joining the Broncos in Super League next season, Mason said: “I am buzzing to be able to get back into Super League and the opportunity with London was one I couldn’t turn down.

“I have spoken to a few of the lads who know Danny Ward and they had only good things to say about him and the club.

“I am looking forward now to next season and a new experience with London Broncos.”

London coach Danny Ward commented: “Nathan came through the ranks at Huddersfield and burst into the first-team at an early age.

“He’s a big human being and will hopefully bring something a bit different to the team.”
