Scotland international Alex Walker has returned to London Broncos on a deal until the end of the Championship season.

The 26-year-old full-back will go straight into Jermaine Coleman’s squad for this weekend’s fixture against Bradford.

Walker came through the ranks at the Broncos, scoring 41 tries in 102 appearances between 2014-19.

His impressive performances for London saw him earn a Super League deal with Wakefield in 2020. However, he found chances limited at Trinity, playing just 10 games over two seasons. He also enjoyed a short spell on loan in the Championship with Featherstone last season.

The Essex-born full-back joined Championship club Halifax on trial ahead of this season but nothing materialised. He has now re-joined part-time London for the rest of the season.

  1. Superb to have Alex back at London Broncos, will never forget that day in Toronto in the ‘Million Pound’ game, and Alex gave everything he could, even after quite an early knock in the game. Alex has always given everything he could for London, and he will inspire the many young Southern born players now in the first team,

We just need to hold on to these players more! and clubs should be made to pay a fee to any development club, when they sign players, otherwise the game will never develop outside of the M62 corridor.
