Lomax returns for St Helens

St Helens full-back Jonny Lomax is set to return to action in this Thursday’s televised Super League clash at Salford.

Lomax, 26, hasn’t played since the round two loss at Leigh but returns to Keiron Cunningham’s 19-man squad.

Winger Adam Swift is missing through injury, as are Jack Ashworth and Greg Richards, with Morgan Knowles and Matty Fleming called up in their place.

Salford have named four former Saints players in their 19-man squad, including in-form full-back Gareth O’Brien, Josh Jones, Mark Flanagan and Lama Tasi.

Saints trio Theo Fages, Matty Smith and Tommy Lee are also set to go up against their ex-employers.
