Logan joins Rovers on loan

MJ Black

Hull KR have made one last signing before the deadline for the Qualifiers by bringing in Jack Logan on loan from city neighbours Hull FC.

The versatile outside back provides cover for the centre and wing positions and has previous Super League experience with the Black and Whites after coming through the club’s academy system, going on to score nine tries in 21 first team appearances.

A former England Academy international, Logan will link up with the Robins with immediate effect on a loan deal until the end of the season after the two clubs submitted the paperwork to the RFL before this afternoon’s 5.00pm deadline.

Head coach Tim Sheens said: “Jack is able to play in a few positions in the outside backs and has previous experience in Super League.

“He’s had a couple of setbacks, but he’s back fit and available now and comes into the squad to provide extra cover.

“We weren’t expecting to do any more business on the final day, but we’ve managed to sort out a deal with Jack and Hull FC and we’re looking forward to having him on board.

“This now completes our squad going into the Qualifiers.”
