Salford full-back Kevin Locke has revealed that he is feeling fit and raring to go for the new season, and cannot wait to play alongside Gareth Hock.

He also rates the Red Devils pack as potentially one of the best in Super League in 2015.

“I am also looking forward to playing alongside Gareth Hock and am delighted he is staying at Salford,” the Kiwi told the Manchester Evening News.

“Hock is the complete package in terms of a back rower. He is tough, he has a great unload and he brings aggression.

“He has a good reputation in the game and we are certainly going to have a very strong pack.

“The pack will be massive. Adrian Morley will be in there along with Lama Tasi and then there’s Darrell Griffin, Harrison Hansen and Weller Hauraki to go in there.

“Add to this the Walne brothers who are two of the hardest trainers I have ever comes across and there is real competition. The Walnes are certainly talented and they will want to play their part.

“We have also brought in Cory Paterson who is another fine forward.

“We also have Scott Taylor coming in from Wigan and this adds more class and experience.

“Marwan Koukash has certainly put together a very good squad and is to be commended for this.

“Our preparations are going well and I can’t wait for the season to come around.”
