Leilani Latu departs Warrington

Warrington have released Tonga international Leilani Latu with a year left on his contract.

The 28-year-old former Penrith Panthers prop joined the Wolves from NRL club Gold Coast Titans on a two-year deal just over 12 months ago but made only three appearances in 2020.

A statement from the club said: “Warrington Wolves can confirm that Leilani Latu has been released from the remainder of his contract by mutual agreement with immediate effect.

“The club would like to thank the prop forward for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”

  1. Leilani is a great role model off the field for youngsters to follow.
The Broncos should get home while he is available as he will help change the entitlement mindset off the other young forwards.

    #Latu for the Broncos
