Leigh backs Steve Maden and Nicky Stanton have committed to the Centurions for next season.

Maden, 26, is in his second spell at the club and has signed a new 12-month deal, while former Wigan winger Stanton will play at Leigh Sports Village for a second season in 2010.

Stanton was a prolific scorer in the reserves during his time with Wigan, but has managed just three tries this season, while Maden has scored five times.

Maden returned to the club from Whitehaven in 2008 and has scored 28 tries in 85 appearances for the club, including nine during Leigh’s brief spell in Super League.

The pair follow Mick Nanyn in committing to the club for next season, along with Stuart Donlan, Mike Morrison, James Taylor, chris Hill, Adam Higson and Jonathan Pownall.
