Leigh have signed Junior Sa’u, Adam Higson and Mitch Clark with immediate effect.

Centre Sa’u, 32, has penned a deal with Leigh until the end of the 2020 season after departing Salford.

Winger Higson, 32, re-joins hometown club Leigh on a deal until the end of 2020 from Championship rivals Toronto.

Prop Clark, 26, will join Wigan on a three-year contract from 2020 but will be available to the Centurions for the rest of the campaign after leaving Castleford.

Leigh coach John Duffy said: “Junior has a lot of quality and experience and is a proven Super League player.

“He’s come through some great systems in the NRL and has played a big part in Salford’s revival under Ian Watson.

“I coached Mitch at Featherstone last year and he’s come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years. He’s been absolutely superb in Super League, changing the tempo of games when he’s been on the field at Castleford. He’s a really nice bloke and he wants to come to Leigh and finish the year off playing good rugby before he starts with Wigan.

“I know AJ [Higson] well from back in the day when I was still playing. He reads the game well and gets his teams on the front foot out of yardage. He’s a Leigh lad and he wants to come back and I’m looking forward to seeing him in a Leigh shirt again.”
