Leigh owner Derek Beaumont is cycling 500 miles in five days for charity.

The Centurions owner is taking on the bike ride this Saturday as he aims to cycle 500 miles in five days in the Scottish Highlands, with the aim of raising £20,000 for Candlelighters and Cancer Research UK.

Beaumont – along with Gary Molloy, Miles Dewhurst and Andy Mair – will set off on Saturday from Inverness.

The team will then cycle to Sheildaig, Ullapool, Durness and Altnaharra before returning to Inverness on the fifth day.
