Leigh docked 3 points for cap breach

Leigh Centurions have been deducted three league points after being found guilty of a technical breach of salary cap rules by an RFL Operational Rules Tribunal.

The breach occurred during the 2010 season and was caused by the Co-operative Championship club’s inability to reach anticipated levels of income.

Leigh will not be appealing against the points deduction, which takes place with immediate effect.
