Leigh coach bemoans completion rate

Leigh coach Neil Jukes rued their poor completion rate in the 12-6 defeat at Salford.

Despite a stern effort in defence, the Centurions struggled to make anything in attack and spent most of the second half camped in their own half.

Jukes said: “We killed ourselves with our completion rate. We only kicked the ball three or four times second half, which says it all.

“The guys are a bit down in there, they’re kicking themselves and they’re disappointed.

“We’ll be a bit patched up on Monday.

“We lost Mitch Brown following his head test, and that will rule him out on Monday. Ben Crooks is having stitches on an eye injury in there, but he’ll have to play!”
