Two stars of the famous 1985 Wembley final will conduct the draw for the fifth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup live on BBC radio and online next Sunday, April 18.

Henderson Gill, who played on the wing for Wigan in the 1985 final, will be joined by former Hull FC forward and fellow Great Britain Lion Lee Crooks in the BBC Radio Leeds studio for the draw, which will take place at 4.45pm.

The draw can also be heard live on BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC Radio Manchester, BBC Radio Humberside and on the official Carnegie Challenge Cup website, www.carnegiechallengecup.co.uk

Gill and Crooks both starred in what is widely regarded as the greatest Challenge Cup final of all time, a match which is being commemorated throughout this year’s tournament, culminating in the final on Saturday August 28 when players from both sides will be special guests at Wembley.

Next weekend sees the 14 Engage Super League clubs enter the 2010 Carnegie Challenge Cup at the fourth round stage where they will join the 18 Co-operative Championships, French Federation and community clubs who came through the third round.

The pick of the fourth round ties are the all-Engage Super League fixtures between Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos on Saturday (2.30) and Huddersfield Giants v Hull Kingston Rovers on Sunday (1.45). Both ties will be broadcast live on BBC Television.

With Engage Super League club season ticket holders entitled to free entry to their club’s Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth round tie, bumper crowds are predicted next weekend.
