Salford have signed young Leeds centre Brad England.

England, 19, started at Castleford’s academy and moved to Headingley 12 months ago, where he has been turning out for their Under 19s.

He said: “I’ve been playing rugby league since I was small and it’s been my ambition to play in the Super League for a long time.

“I’m going to have to work hard and it’ll be a real challenge to try and make the selection for the first team next season.”

The move for the son of Castleford Challenge Cup winner Keith England was first revealed in a tweet by Red Devils owner Dr Marwan Koukash.
