Leeds Rhinos have only managed to name a 19-man squad for their trip to Hull KR on Friday as Blake Austin makes his return.

Austin, 31, could make his return from a leg injury. The playmaker has not featured since the club’s 62-16 victory over Hull FC earlier in July.

Rohan Smith has only managed to name a 19-man squad for the visit to Craven Park in Round 23. Aidan Sezer and Rhyse Martin will serve their one-match suspensions this week. Meanwhile, winger David Fusitu’a will begin his two-match ban. Matt Prior will complete his two match suspension this week.

The Rhinos are still without captain Kruise Leeming due to a foot injury. James Donaldson misses out due to a knee injury.

Jack Sinfield, Muizz Mustapha, Corey Johnson and Liam Tindall come into the squad.

Hull KR welcome back trio

Hull KR interim boss Danny McGuire welcomes back Mikey Lewis, Ryan Hall and Kane Linnett to his squad for Friday’s trip. Lachlan Coote misses out. He failed a head injury assessment during the defeat to Wigan at the DW Stadium a fortnight ago.

Mikey Lewis has also been named for the first time since Round 20. The 21-year-old left the field through injury during the side’s 30-22 victory over Warrington at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Prop forward Albert Vete continues to be sidelined through injury. Young full-back Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e and centre Sam Wood both picked up knocks in Thursday’s 22-16 win over Toulouse but have been named.

Hull KR: Crooks, Kenny-Dowall, Hall, Parcell, King, Linnett, Storton, Litten, Minchella, Keinhorst, Lewis, Milnes, Maher, Ryan, Wood, Richards, Halton, Tate, Laulua-Togaga’e, Fishwick, Barley.

Leeds: Newman, Sutcliffe, Handley, Austin, Oledzki, Bentley, Tetevano, Dwyer, Myler, Smith, Thompson, Gannon, Walters, O’Connor, Johnson, Mustapha, Tindall, Sinfield, Hardaker.
