Leeds contract extension for Donald
Leeds winger Scott Donald has signed a 12-month extension to his contract at Headingley.
Donald, 29, has been out injured in recent weeks but is set for a return in tomorrow’s clash with Huddersfield at the Galpharm Stadium.
He said: “I am delighted to have agreed the new contract.
“I had never considered leaving Leeds Rhinos and it is great that we have come up with a deal that means I can stay.
“By the end of this contract it will mean that Leeds is the longest I have ever been at one club and that means a lot to me.”
Coach Brian McClennan added: “Scott is an integral part of our squad and I am really pleased he has agreed this new contract.
“He is a great finisher, as his record shows, but he is also a very important player for us defensively as well.”
