Leeds and Cowboys name World Club Challenge teams

Leeds Rhinos and the North Queensland Cowboys have named their teams for Sunday’s World Club Challenge encounter.

The Cowboys have named the same 17 that beat Brisbane in the NRL grand final.

The Rhinos are without Tom Briscoe, Danny McGuire, Carl Ablett (all injured), Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai (all retired) from the side that defeated Wigan at Old Trafford last year.

Leeds:

Zak Hardaker, Ash Handley, Kallum Watkins, Joel Moon, Ryan Hall, Liam Sutcliffe, Jordan Lilley, Keith Galloway, Rob Burrow, Adam Cuthbertson, Brett Ferres, Brett Delaney, Brad Singleton. Bench: Mitch Garbutt, Jimmy Keinhorst, Josh Walters, Antony Mullally.

Cowboys:

Lachaln Coote, Kyle Felt, Justin O’Neill, Kane Linnett, Antonio Winterstein, Michael Morgan, Jonathan Thurston, Matt Scott, Jake Granville, James Tamou, Ethan Lowe, Gavin Cooper, Jason Taumalolo. Bench: Rory Kostjasyn, John Asiata, Scott Bolton, Ben Hannant.
