Lee Smith on trial at Hull FC

Former Leeds and Wakefield outside back Lee Smith is currently trying to earn a deal at Hull FC, with the 29-year-old on a two-month trial at the club.

The Grand Final winner has spent time in rugby union in recent seasons, as well as playing for Wakefield.

“It’s a no-brainer for us bringing Lee in to have a look at him and letting him train with us,” Hull coach Lee Radford explained to the Hull Daily Mail.

“It’s not costing us anything and he’s a player with a lot of experience, so we’ll take a look at it.”
