Catalans Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous has been fined £500, the RFL have confirmed.

This is for criticising a match official and/or the Match Review Panel and/or an Operational Rules tribunal following his club’s fixture against Huddersfield Giants played on Sunday May 31.

An RFL statement reads:

“Mr Frayssinous was found to be in breach of RFL Operational Rules D1.1(b) Improper Conduct and C2.8 Criticism of Match Officials and/or Operational Rules Tribunal and/or the RFL Match Review Panel, and the RFL’s Respect Policy.

“Mr Frayssinous had previously been fined for similar offences in 2013 and March 2015. The £250 that was suspended in March 2015 has now been invoked. £250 of the latest fine is suspended until the end of the 2015 season.

“Mr Frayssinous has also been warned as to his future conduct.”
