London Skolars have handed a new one-year contract to centre Lameck Juma.

The utility-back has been at the Skolars for the past four seasons and is currently one of the club’s longest-serving players.

Juma has made over 50 appearances for the capital club and is set to enter his fifth year there.

On his new deal, Juma said; “I am really happy and excited to have signed another year at London Skolars.

“I’m looking forward to being part of a successful team and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

On re-signing Juma, Skolars’ boss Jermaine Coleman commented: “Lameck is a great asset to have in any team.

“He is a powerful ball carrier and plays with some real aggression and intent.

“As an opposition player, he is a real handful, so we are thankful that he is playing with us this year.

“He is a hugely popular member of the group, so I’m delighted he has decided to stay.”
