Lamb to go straight in for Broncos

New London signing Brock Lamb is set to go straight in to the side against Salford on Sunday.

Lamb, 22, joined the Broncos on a short-term deal from Sydney Roosters to cover for the injured Morgan Smith.

They also this week signed Guy Armitage from rugby union.

Coach Danny Ward said: “Brock will hopefully play some part in Sunday’s game. He was straight into training on Wednesday and slotted in really well.”

“I’ve said all along I’m sweet with this squad, it was just with Morgan going down that we had to dip into the transfer market.

“There’s no panic here, we’re pretty confident in the boys we’ve got.

“We’re still without Eloi Pelissier so it left us a little bit short, probably one injury away from being in a bit of trouble.”

London sit bottom of the Super League table on 16 points, alongside Hull KR who host Castleford on Sunday too.

Leeds’ win over Huddersfield on Friday moved them to 18 points, level with the Giants and Wakefield, who were beaten by St Helens.
