Koukash gleeful about Salford’s halfback options

Salford owner Dr Marwan Koukash is delighted that his club have secured the services of Michael Dobson on a four-year deal from next season.

The charismatic entrepreneur is also looking forward to having four of Super League‘s best halfbacks to choose from in 2015.

“Michael’s arrival will give us four fantastic half-backs at our club, easily the strongest in Super League,” said Koukash.

“He will join Rangi Chase, Theo Fages and Marc Sneyd to give us options that the rest of the competition will be eying enviously.”

Snyed has shown great form this season, albeit in the colours of Castleford Tigers, who have emerged as one of Super League‘s contenders over the course of the current campaign.

Rangi Chase‘s form has been somewhat hit and miss so far in his time at the Red Devils, with injury having affected his start at the club.

Frenchman Theo Fages remains a great prospect, though he may fear for his chances of first team rugby with the arrival of Dobson.

Dobson himself, a cult hero at former club Hull KR, is looking forward to a return to Super League.

He said: “I’m really exciting to be joining a great squad next season and I’m looking forward to a new challenge at the Devils.”
