Koukash confirms Carney signing

Salford owner Dr Marwan Koukash has revealed that Todd Carney has signed for the club.

The stand-off, who has been with Catalans Dragons after his exit in disgrace from the NRL, will now join up with the Red Devils for the 2017 season.

He had been linked with a possible move back to the NRL.

Salford CEO Ian Blease said: “Todd will be a vital part of our jigsaw and is a real statement of our intent.

“He is a world-class player and match-winner. We are delighted to get his signature and are greatly looking-forward to his arrival for the start of season.”
