New Huddersfield signing Craig Kopczak says he is raring to go ahead of the new season.

Kopczak, 25, made a controversial autumn switch to the John Smith’s Stadium from Bradford, exercising his legal right to leave the Bulls following their period of administration.

The Wales international is set to line-up against his former employers at least three times in 2013, after the two clubs were paired together at the Magic Weekend.

He told the club’s official website: “It’s been great so far.

“Everyone has made me feel really welcome. I am enjoying how things are going at the moment, and just how professional the place is.

“The lads are gelling really well together, the banter is going already and things are incredibly professional and calm.

“Everyone is doing their own thing, and we are all excited and raring to go for the new season.”

Kopczak, who captained Wales in the recent Autumn International Series against England and France, scored 11 tries in 123 appearances.

Huddersfield host Bradford on March 3rd, before making the trip to Odsal for the final game of the regular season on September 8th.

The Magic Weekend clash comes on Saturday May 26th at the Etihad Stadium (5.15pm).
