Knights sign Tupou

The Newcastle Knights have signed former Wakefield forward Anthony Tupou on a one-year contract.

Tupou left Trinity at the end of the 2016 season.

The back-rower has previously played for Cronulla and the Roosters.

“We’re very pleased to bring Anthony to the Club ahead of the 2017 season,” Knights coach Nathan Brown said.

“He has a wealth of experience in this competition and will be able to assist in the development of our younger forwards.”
