Castleford winger Kieran Gill has returned to the club following a loan spell at Oldham.

Gill, 22, made three appearances in what was his third spell at the Roughyeds, but returns to his parent club, who released winger Garry Lo over the weekend.

Oldham coach Scott Naylor said: “He’s always been brilliant for us over each of his three spells with the club.

“All parties got what they wanted out of his loan. We got a quality player for three games and Gilly got a lot of match fitness after his long injury lay-off.

“We wish him all the best and we hope he gets in the Castleford team before very long.

“It’s what he wants and it’s what we all want for him.”

The Roughyeds have agreed a new week-to-week loan agreement with Wakefield full-back Luke Hooley, but winger Lee Kershaw has returned to Trinity after a month on loan.
