London Broncos winger Kieran Dixon has joined ambitious club York for the 2021 campaign.

The 28-year-old has made 169 appearances for London and Hull KR since making his professional debut in 2012, scoring 123 tries.

York are currently in the Championship but have launched a bid to become Super League’s 12th club for next season.

Dixon said: “I’m pleased to have signed on for 2021 with the Knights. They’re a team with big ambitions and a drive to get to the top.

“With the new stadium and a great set of fans I’m really looking forward to getting started and working hard with the rest of the team.

“I think the direction the club is heading is really exciting and I’m honoured and proud to become a part of it.”

York coach James Ford commented: “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to sign Kieran.

“We’ve patiently been looking for an additional outside back for a while and we believe Kieran is exactly what we’re after.

“He has ample Super League experience, an outstanding try to game ratio, electric pace and he is a handful on early plays. I’m confident Kieran will fit in with our culture and add to it in places.”
