Keyes signs new Bradford deal

Bradford have handed a new two-year deal to half-back Joe Keyes.

Keyes, 22, has scored three tries in 20 appearances this season and joins fellow half-back Dane Chisholm in committing to the recently relegated Bulls.

He said: “It means a lot to be here. I came up here a year and a half ago and it’s been a rollercoaster filled with ups and downs, but I’ve met some great people and I wouldn’t change a thing.

“This club is filled with great people, the fans, the staff and everyone in the team. It is a good place to be around even though it hasn’t been a smooth ride. I just can’t wait for the new season already; this place has a lot to offer.

“Dane and I get on really well together off the field. We played a little together at the end of last season and that was really good, so I can’t wait to get back out there with him.”

Enfield-born Keyes came through the academy ranks at London Broncos and has also played internationally for Ireland.
