Kevin Sinfield will release his first book in March 2016, it has been confirmed by the publishers, Great Northern Books.
Written with Peter Smith of the Yorkshire Evening Post, the book will look back on the highlights of Sinfield’s career.
Published in hardback, the book will be a high quality, large format tome, with many pictures selected by Steve Riding featured.
One pound from each advanced order sale will be donated to the Leeds Rhinos Foundation charity, which supports grassroots rugby league and work in the community.
“I’ve wanted to do a book like this for a long time to capture, through words and pictures, some of the moments in my playing career that are very special to me,” said Sinfield.
“To do it now, at the end of my League years, seems right to me. The book is a tribute to the clubs, Waterhead in Oldham where it all started when I was a young lad, and Rhinos my home for 18 years, as well as to the fans and my friends and family that have supported me across the years.
“I hope they will enjoy reading it as much as I am enjoying putting it together.”
