Kenny Edwards pulls out of Cook Islands game

Parramatta Eels player Kenny Edwards has pulled out of the Cook Islands squad for their game against Lebanon this weekend. 

The news was broken from the Cooks Islands official Facebook page, in which they reveal that Edwards will not be released by the NRL for their game this weekend. 

Cook Islands coach Alex Channy and technical advisor Tony Iro have said they are confident in the young players to step in for the NRL players that are not to be released for their game on Sunday.
