Keighley sign Wales star Ben Morris on loan from St Helens

Keighley Cougars have captured the loan signing of Wales international Ben Morris from St Helens on a one-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old will make Cougar Park his home for the next month. He has also played one game for Championship side Sheffield Eagles on dual-registration this season but is yet to make his first-grade debut for Saints.

Morris made earned two caps for Wales at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup. He played in their defeats to Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby and Ireland in Perth.

The versatile back-rower had a spell on loan at Oldham last season and was also part of the St Helens side that went the entire Under-19s season unbeaten in 2016.

In a statement by the club, the Cougars said: “The club would like to take this opportunity to welcome Ben to Cougar Park and wish him all the best during his time with us.”
