Keighley sign Giants forward Peltier

Championship side Keighley have signed back-row forward Ross Peltier from Huddersfield.

Peltier, 20, joins the Cougars on a one-year deal, and hooks up with fellow Jamaican internationals Richie Barnett and Jamaine Wray at Cougar Park.

He joined the Giants’ full-time squad ahead of the 2011 season, but failed to make a single first team appearance for the club.

Meanwhile, Keighley have also announced that prop Brendan Rawlins and half-back JyMel Coleman have agreed terms for next season.
