Keighley offer special deal for Barrow clash

Keighley are hoping fans of Super League and Championship clubs will turn out in force this week to help the club avoid losing vital gate revenue.

The Cougars’ League One fixture against Barrow has been moved to Wednesday 10th May (7.30pm) after being rearranged due to the Raiders’ upcoming Challenge Cup tie against Leeds.

Barrow usually take a sizeable following to Cougar Park, while some home fans are also expected to struggle to attend the rescheduled fixture.

In an attempt to boost crowd numbers, Keighley are offering season ticket Holders of clubs in the Super League and the Championship the opportunity to watch the game for just £5.

All supporters have to do is produce their respective season tickets at the turnstile in order to gain entry at that price.

Keighley currently lie fifth in League 1, six points behind Barrow who still boast a 100% record this season.

  1. I go watch keighley most home games and some away. For me my wife and 18 year old son this game will cost £45. If I support Halifax Bradford or Leeds a family of the same size can watch this game for £15. This is not how to look after your own supporters by giving the best deal to someone who will just come once to cougar park. If a bank gave a better deal to its none customers than its own customers we wouldn’t hear the end of it in the papers. This is not how to look after your own keighley.
