Keighley 2023 squad numbers: Luke Gale to wear shirt number 31 at new club

Former Super League half-back Luke Gale will wear shirt number 31 at new club Keighley for their upcoming 2023 Championship campaign.

Gale, 34, requested to wear the number following his move from Hull on a one-year deal.

Elsewhere, outside-back Ben Crooks will don jersey number 25. The 29-year-old made the move during the off-season from Hull KR on a two-year contract.

Former Warrington forward Ellis Robson has received shirt number 19 by Keighley head coach Rhys Lovegrove. Robson, 24, made the switch from Newcastle Thunder during the off-season.

New signings Mark Ioane and Thomas Doyle have been handed numbers 24 and 26 respectively.

Following his move from Wakefield, Brad Walker will wear shirt number 20. The 24-year-old made 25 Super League appearances for his previous club, and also represented Widnes.

39-year-old Jake Webster will wear jersey 33 as he begins the transition onto the coaching staff. He has previously worn shirt number three since his move in 2020.
