Kangaroos see off Kiwis

Australia have defeated New Zealand 26-6 at Perth’s nib Stadium today.

Greg Inglis bagged two tries and Dariys Boyd, Valentine Holmes and Boyd Cordner one each as the Kangaroos were comfortable winners.

Fullback Boyd crossed in the eighth minute followed by Inglis’ first six minutes later.

New Zealand responded when halfback Shaun Johnson put back-rower Kevin Proctor over.

With the score 8-6 at half-time, the Aussies took control in the second period.

Debutant Holmes scored in the 43rd minute followed by Inglis’ second try in the 68th minute.

The Australians finished the game strongly with Cordner crossing in the final seconds.
