Bradford have confirmed that they have accepted winger Jy Hitchcox’s request to leave the club to pursue an alternative playing option.

The 30-year-old joined the Bulls in 2018 before putting pen-to-paper on a permanent deal heading into the 2019 campaign.

He began his playing career at Wests Tigers and most notably spent three seasons at Castleford, scoring 20 tries in 28 appearances.

The Australian crossed five tries in 13 appearances in 2019, despite suffering a lengthy shoulder injury.
