Justin Holbrook has made his second signing at the Gold Coast Titans following the capture of Jonus Pearson earlier this week.

The club have announced the signing of young prospect Tino Fa’asuamaleaui from 2021 on a three-year deal from the Melbourne Storm.

Fa’asuamaleaui, 19, made his debut in the 2019 season in round 16 against the St George Illawarra Dragons, and has made a total of five appearances.

He has represented under-18s Queensland side and under-20s Queensland side and the Junior Kangaroos.

In 2019, he also featured in the Prime Minister’s XIII and the under-23s Australian side, as well as Samoa in an end of season test.

Head Coach Holbrook said: “Tino has already proven to be one of the most promising young players in the game and we’re excited to have him joining the Titans.

“His signing is a huge win for the club considering the high-demand and interest there was in Tino from a number of NRL clubs.

“We have a great crop of local talent here and off the back of the re-signing of AJ Brimson, Moeaki Fotuaika and Phil Sami, Tino is another one of those young players that we can look forward to seeing in action in the future.”
