Salford Red Devils have confirmed that Junior Sa’u has signed a two-year contract extension at the club.

He should now be staying put until the end of the 2017 season.

The 27-year-old centre has made 37 appearances and scored 16 tries during his time with Salford, and he is pleased to be remaining at the AJ Bell Stadium.

“I’m really happy to be here for the next two years,” he said.

“I’ve enjoyed my time here and want to be part of the good things ahead.

“We’re not too far away at the moment, it’s an exciting time to be at Salford and I’m glad I’m not going anywhere so I can be a part of it.”

Red Devils Owner Marwan Koukash added: “I’ve been extremely impressed with Junior’s commitment to the club and I’m sure he will be a big part of the future here at the Red Devils.

“I know Junior is a big favourite of the fans and I am confident that we’re still to see the very best that he has to offer.”
