Josh Griffin says he is growing in confidence after settling down at Hull FC.

The 28-year-old has been in fine form for Hull FC this season, scoring five tries in 14 appearances.

He has been tipped for an England spot by many and although he has been at nine clubs in his career, Griffin revealed he is growing in confidence after settling down at Hull FC.

Griffin told hullfc.com: “Over the last few weeks, I’ve been building in confidence because I think I’ve finally managed to get the hang of the style of play that we have here and I’m really enjoying it.

“At my previous club, Salford, they played a completely different brand of footy. They were getting the ball out wide a lot more, so I was getting more action.

“With the big forwards at Hull, you tend to use them a lot more for running the ball in hard, which means you see a little bit less of the ball as a centre or a winger.

“I’m loving my time here at Hull at the moment because I feel like I’m back to playing some of my best rugby. It’s a great club with unreal supporters, so hopefully my form can continue!”
