Swinton forward Jose Kenga has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

The 24-year-old made 16 appearances for the Lions last season after previously enjoying spells at Hunslet and Keighley.

Swinton coach Stuart Littler said: “It is another bit of great news with the re-signing of Jose Kenga.

“Jose maps into our strategy re recruiting young players who are keen to develop and progress with us.

“Jose’s attitude is first class and he has high personal standards as well as a will to be successful. Jose developed well last season after stepping up from League 1.

“I truly believe Jose will get better with experience and game-time.”
