Jordan Tansey joins Wakefield

Wakefield have confirmed that they have signed utility back Jordan Tansey on an 18-month contract.

The 28-year-old joins other new recruits Michael Sio and Kevin Locke at the club, and will be in contention for the game against Hull FC next week.

“I am delighted to welcome Jordan Tansey to the club. Jordan will provide a genuine competition across all of our back players,” said Wakefield chairman Michael Carter.

“I would also like to thank Castleford Tigers and Steve Gill for their corporation in making this move possible. Relations between the two rival clubs off the field have never been better.”
