Hull KR coach Chris Chester has named Jordan Cox in his 19-man squad for the home clash with Wakefield on Thursday evening.

The forward had spent the last month on loan at Huddersfield Giants, but the injury situation at Rovers has seen him return to the KC Lightstream Stadium.

“Jordan did a good job for us in the month he was here,” said Giants coach Paul Anderson, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

“At the end of the day he is Hull KR’s player and as soon as Chris contacted me, we let Jordan return.

“Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, Jordan didn’t feature in the last two games he was here because of illness.

“He has gone back, but we have the players capable of going to Salford and getting the win.”

Shaun Lunt misses out for Rovers with injury.
