Harlequins fullback Ben Jones-Bishop has been named in Brian McDermott’s 19 man squad to face engage Super League leaders Wigan at the Stoop this Saturday.

The 21-year-old – who is on a season long loan from Leeds Rhinos – has been out of action since April when he suffered a depressed skull fracture during Harlequins’ famous 38-26 victory over Wigan at the DW Stadium.

In other changes to the team that faced Hull KR last weekend, Ryan Esders returns to the 19 man squad whilst Olsi Krasniqi and Luke May miss out.

Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, who was a late withdrawal from last weekend’s squad after a bout of tonsillitis, has been ruled fit to play on Saturday.

In other injury news, Jason Golden (shoulder) has returned to rugby training and is likely to be back in action in 2-3 weeks, as is Luke Williamson who has a torn foot ligament.
