Jon Wilkin to return to action within a month

Josh McAllister

Toronto have announced that Jon Wilkin is expected to return to the field within a month following a knee injury.

The 36-year-old underwent minor surgery on the knee concern that saw him miss Toronto’s clash against Wigan, and is likely to return within a month.

Gadwin Springer will spend an additional week on the sidelines after he failed his head test in Thursday’s fixture at the DW Stadium that saw him leave the field in the second half. He is expected to return against St Helens in round five at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Darcy Lussick, who is yet to feature for the Wolfpack in 2020, is expected to return within a month, and Chase Stanley is currently still in Australia due to visa issues, but the club expect to have it resolved within the next week.
